Featuring this One Woman Show Who Really Has Great Expectations
Firstly, You couldn’t describe me as pleasantly happy as an “independent” (aka: naturally single) person and not be lying. But, I’m not uncomfortable about it, either. I just suggest it on the blogosphere as an intriguing personal tidbit introducing what I am prepared to discuss honestly.
A week ago today I was walking the dog, Sandy, thinking of joining Dallas Personals site. Today, I type to you as a happy member of the dating service. Seriously, and I almost don’t believe it myself! I like it! If you have read my old blog, perhaps you’re thinkin’, “Stop blabbering and tell me about it already.”
Here’s how it went down, I saw these Great Expectations Reviews and felt encouraged. They’re for the serious singles who care enough to know dating doesn’t have to be so frivolous and stupid.
Quite frankly, I’d never enjoyed or even tolerated whatever it is that my friends and my family have christened “dating.” I faced it all the time. Every night readers nagg, “Are you two serious yet?” and “Oh I know just the guy for you!”
“That’s rubbish,” I say to them, without missing a beat. “Have you seen what’s out there?”
“You’re as ridiculous as you are hilarious,” they say. “That’s just an excuse for your cynicism.”
That’s just my partner in crime The One-And-Only 
Sandy Wilson. She offers common sense to my mind to set me straight. People you can trust . Can’t argue with that, and I joined.
Returning to the point of this blog entry. As I selected from hundreds of combinations of outfits for my first singles event with Great Expectations, a revelation hit me deep. Over the last year, I hadn’t allowed myself the greatest of literal great expectations for dating in the serendipitous winding course of being human. It’s good to be single, only with healthy optimism. Having great expectations does wonders for a caring soul.
